Teaching Children Martial Arts

Saturday 20th September, 1-3 p.m.
Broom Village Hall B50 4HJ
w3w/// craftsman.starting.races
For LCTKD Teaching Team Members and invited guests only.
In her decades as a martial artist, Mrs Helen M F Hall has produced more Black Belts than any other teacher at LCTKD, and most of those Black Belts have grown up with her teaching, starting as sometimes tiny children. Her highly praised teaching of children has made Blockley juniors TKD full for years, and people who know the class often describe it as a "masterclass" in teaching children martial arts.
In this workshop for LCTKD teachers from Teaching Assistant up, Mrs Hall shares some pointers for teaching children martial arts, looking at how to teach smaller children, slightly older children, and teenagers.
Special Guest: The TeapotmOnk

Saturday 18th October, 2-5 p.m.
Peopleton Village Hall
Main Street, Peopleton WR10 2EG
(w3w///flushed.nerves.alarming)
We welcome one of the country's foremost Tai Chi teachers and founder of one of the world's best known on-line Tai Chi schools, Paul Read - often known as the TeapotmOnk. With many decades as a Tai Chi teacher in the UK and in Spain, Paul blends incredible experience and insight across styles and practices with a gentle, accommodating approach, and a refreshingly irreverant and iconoclastic take on the way that Tai Chi is presented. In this special session hosted by LCTKD, Paul will be sharing his insights with LCTKD students and invited guests. You will be sure to leave with completely new take on what Tai Chi is and how to practice it.
You don't need to be an expert to join this session. Paul is happy to work with everyone from beginner to master, and all are welcome.
This paid workshop is now fully booked. Keep scrolling down for more Tai Chi workshops and events.
