This is where to find out about our classes at beautiful Coughton Court, home of the Throckmorton family since 1409, and gifted by them to the National Trust in 1946.
Our public Tai Chi classes began in 2013 at the glorious Batsford Arboretum in the Cotswolds. Classes there have twice featured on BBC television, and remain as popular as ever. In the years since then, along with regular classes across three counties, we have drawn on our experience at Batsford to work with other beautiful high profile venues such as Worcester Cathedral. We are delighted that in 2021 we were able to run a short series of Tai Chi taster classes in the truly magnificent setting of the Walled Garden at Coughton Court, which you can see in the picture.
The hour long classes were held in the Walled Garden, with exclusive access before the general public arrives. Suitable for beginners and also those with some experience, the classes took beginners from the very start with an introduction to Tai Chi and a simple and beautiful Tai Chi sequence, while offering more practice and more depth for those with more experience.
We are discussing more classes for 2022. Meanwhile, you can join any of our Tai Chi classes or workshops nearby and continue your journey with us.
LCTKD comes from London's Chinatown, and teaches a lot of things including a lot of Tai Chi. LCTKD's approach to Tai Chi has been so successful that it has grown to become one of the biggest Tai Chi schools in the UK. Classes at Coughton Court will be taught by one of our most senior Instructors, who have extensive teaching experience and you can see them featured in many of our videos. You can find out about us and the Tai Chi we teach by clicking on the logo at the top of this page, and looking around our website, or going straight to our page about Tai Chi by clicking here. Or you can simply book your place at the classes with the link above, come along and join in. It's relaxed, it's relaxing, it's friendly, and it's good for you!
